Want to join GMT next year in front of or behind the Camera? - Pause-  We are looking for new Anchors and Control Room Crew (Camera, Audio, Lighting, Graphics, Copywriter) for the 2018-2019 school year.

You can find a link to the sign-up form in your email or on our site trumannews.jimdo.com. You'll receive a pass for a meeting and anchor auditions on Tuesday, June 5th.

Club News

LIGHT Bible Club Invites all to the End Of Year Party on Wednesday, June 6 at 2:30 in room A 13. There will be food, fun and games. Admission is free.

 

LIGHT Bible Club is selling their T-shirt for $10. A sample is displayed in a showcase by the cafeteria.

Attention GLASS members. We are meeting today, May 30th after school in Room C8.

 

G.O.A.L. the Greenbelt Overhaul Alliance of Levittown is looking for volunteers this Saturday, June 2nd to help with an environmental cleanup of the Black Ditch Creek behind the Violetwood section of Levittown.  The cleanup will run from 9 am until 1pm. Please wear work clothes and boots, and bring a refillable water bottle.  If you are under 18, you will need your parents to sign a waiver form when they drop you off. The meeting location is on Mill Creek Road directly across the street from the Bristol Township School District Administration Building  (formerly Benjamin Franklin Junior High School). See Mr. McGee in room B1 if you have any questions.

 

Sports News

Attention Football Players:  There will be a brief informational meeting today, May 30th in the cafeteria at the start of 1st period.  Go directly to the cafeteria instead of your 1st period class. Contact Coach L. with any concerns

 

A HUGE congratulations to the Truman Track and Field Team that accomplished something that no other team in school history has done!

Jaleezia Gibson finished 4th in the State in the 100m dash

The 4x100m relay team of James Koliyah, Sayyid Saunders, Badr Fask and TJ Rogers took 1st in the State winning Gold running a 41.57 after the day before their anchor Jesse Gayle went down with an injury

Sayyid Saunders secured his place among one of the best athletes to walk the halls of Truman as he also went on to win 1st place and take the State Gold Medal in the 100m and the 200m dash!

Congratulations we are so proud of all of you!
