Attention students and staff

Do you care about the environment?

Do you want to cut down on your trash?

Do you want to save money?

If you answered yes to any of those then composting is the solution for you!

Composting takes your food scraps and turns them into fertile soil.

We will be collecting your food waste during lunch.

You can compost fruits, veggies, bread, and napkins, but not meat or dairy.

It only takes a few seconds out of your day to drop your food waste into our bin

Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.

Your waste can wait for a better tomorrow!

Truman SADD wants you to GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.  Seriously!  We are pleased to announce that we have a date for the TALENT SHOW.  It will be held on March 27th in the auditorium immediately after school.  Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, February 6th in room C-9.  You must show up for tryouts in order to be considered for the show.  Make arrangements to take off from work and to stay after school until 5:30 that day.  Sign-ups are in C-9 any day, first through 6th period.  Begin planning the best act you can come up with.  Think outside the box.  We need singers but we also need other acts. Find your inner comedian or your hidden acrobat.  Dancers welcome.  Ventriloquists would be divine.  Get that act together for the February 6th tryouts.  SADD will also be resuming on January 22nd in room C-9. Please make plans to be off or go into work after the meeting as we have a great deal to accomplish.  Additionally, we will have a speaker on Monday, January 29th to discuss the seat belt challenge. Please plan ahead for that as well.
