Were you one of the students who did not get an ID card?

Are you a freshman, sophomore, or junior and you want to have your picture re-taken before the yearbook comes out?

 

If you answered yes to either of these questions, picture re-take day on Thursday October 19th is for you.  If you want to order photos, stop by the main office and pick up a packet and bring it with you on October 19th.

 

Construction work is beginning at Clara Barton and fences are about to be placed around the perimeter of the school.  This means that any student currently parking there will no longer be able to do so.  Vehicles that are illegally parked will be towed. Thank you!

Club News

LIGHT Bible club is raffling off a big jar of assorted candies. $1 for a ticket, $3 for 5 tickets. See Mrs. Abegunde in room A 13 for tickets. LIGHT Bible Club also meets every Wednesday for fellowship and fun at 2:30 in room A 13. All are welcome. Let your light shine!!

 

The next key club meeting will be held Monday October 23rd in the library. There is no meeting this Monday.

 

Tuesday October 24th is the first Game Challenge club meeting.  If you are interested in YuGiOh, Magic the Gathering, Board games, and video games this is the club for you.  Meet up in the cafeteria after school. We will go until the 5:30 after school buses. Stop by B4 if you have any questions

 

The March of Dimes Science Club will have it’s next meeting this Wednesday, October 18th, after school in room B-2.  We are looking for volunteers to help with our November fundraiser. All students are welcome, the meeting will last about half an hour and you’ll need to arrange a ride home

 

Reading Olympics will meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Wood.

 

Attention Truman Buddies:  Our first activity will be this coming Tuesday, October 24th

 after school. Meet us in Room D3. Your buddies cannot wait to meet you.

 

Attention all Anime Club Members:

We will hold our first meeting on Thursday, October 19.  As usual, the meeting will be in Room B-23.  All returning and all new members are welcome.  If you have any questions, just see Mr. Black in B-23.

 

V.O.I.C.E. Invites you to an evening of Expressing yourself And your culture through poetry and spoken word on Thursday Oct 26 6:30-8:30 PM in the library here at Truman High School

Practice for the Speech and Debate team is cancelled for today. Novices interested in competing next Wednesday at Council Rock North must stay after school Tuesday for practice.

 

Sports News

Attention all powderpuff junior and seniors...Friday October 20th is the last day to hand in your money for a sweatshirt. If you do not have a sweatshirt you will not be able to play in the game. Please see ms. Edge to order your hoodie or if you have any questions or concerns. There will be practice on Tuesday after school. Be sure to bring your mouthguards!
